Reverb 10.16 She's My Person
She's my person. If I murdered someone, she's the person I'd call to help me drag the corpse across the living room floor. She's my person. (Dr. Cristina Yang)
Reverb 10.16 - Prompt from December 16, 2010 (Martha Mihalick)
Friendship. How has a friend changed you or your perspective on the world this year? Was this change gradual, or a sudden burst?
Tiffany Joan and I have known each other since 2003. We met as randomly assigned college roommates and have evolved into the best of friends.
These days, we're living nearly 2,300 miles apart and it's tough to keep in touch like we once did. Yet, we remain close and dedicated in our support of one another.
I visited her earlier this month. We laughed, told stories and caught up.
She inspired me to spruce up my apartment. She reminded me that eating healthy can be an enjoyable experiment. She made me think about having fun while getting in shape.
During our visit I learned that no matter where we move or how different our lives become, we're still the same girls we were back in college. She is my person and I'm hers.
