On A Blogcation
Love is not to be found in someone else, but in ourselves; we simply awaken it. But in order to do that, we need the other person. The universe only makes sense when we have someone to share our feelings with. (Paulo Coelho)
I'm taking a long weekend away to spend time with my Mister and his amazing family.
It has been a few months since I've had a day off and I'm really looking forward to wearing flip flops, having messy hair, reading a few good books and cutting up my new magazines. I was joking earlier on Twitter that I'm taking a few days to unplug so I can write content for my blog and catch up on my Google Reader. That might not be entirely a joke. It kinda depends on where the proverbial wind takes me.
It feels like this blog (mostly this blog's author) has lost its way online. I want to bring back a focus on living an everyday life that's filled with extraordinary adventure. I want to incorporate more dreams, visions and intentions. I want to be consistent in my posting and I want to make the time to leave insightful, heartfelt comments on those juicy posts I read that leave me completely breathless.
I want to find my way back, but first I must step away for a few days. Soaking up the delicious sunshine. Showering my Mister with back rubs and sweet kisses. Sharing laughter and cupcakes with his family.
Wishing you a great weekend, my dears. See you next week!
