The Power of Natural Cycles in Business
The moon is a beautiful model of a natural cycle that happens without you having to do anything. There’s a new moon, a full moon, and all the phases between, and they repeat over and over again.
This is useful in business, especially when you’re working on your own, because it often feel like you’re without an anchor. When everything is up to you, it can lead to not taking any rest or downtime.
All About Lunar Cycles
Paying attention to the moon’s cycles is a powerful practice. It will help you tune in to yourself and the universe, which will bring more alignment and flow to your business.

How to Start Following the Moon
Look up to the sky. Pay attention to when there’s a new moon, full moon, or something between. Notice how your energy, inspiration, and business activities ebb and flow. Pay attention to which activities feel good in relation to the lunar phase.
I recommend The Moon Calendar app to keep a pulse on the moon cycles.
What Is New Moon Energy?
The new moon is the beginning of the moon cycle. It happens about once a month, around every 29.5 days. During a new moon, you see the side of the moon that is not illuminated by the sun, which makes the moon appear to blend in with the darkness of night.
The new moon is a lower energy phase. It’s a good time to set intentions, examine progress, go inward, slow down, and take care of things are easy to ignore. It’s a great time to rest and reflect.
Say hello to healing waaaaay below the surface.
You’ve spent way too much time and money trying to “self-improve” when what you really want is to feel content.
Take an hour to integrate your past lives, all while finding more peace in this life. (No spooky stuff needed.)
Stop and ask yourself: how would life change if you could wake up feeling at peace?
New Moon Rituals Can Boost Business + Creativity
New moon energy can be harnessed for fresh starts, new beginnings, and planting new seeds for growth. Rest and reflection are important parts of the creative process.

Step-by-Step New Moon Rituals for Business
Ritual 1: Intention Setting
Setting intentions is when you choose words to symbolize what you want. It's a game-changer for finding more focus and calm in the chaos of everyday life.
01. Check in with your business.
Tune into what you and your business need. Then, review your calendar and anything coming up in the next moon cycle.
02. Set your intentions and write them down.
Decide what they'll be and put them in writing. Make them visible. Sticky note. To do list. Notion hub. #kaileeneliseintentions.
Ritual 2: Vision Boarding for Business
A vision board, also called a mood or inspiration board, is an external representation of your desires. Creating a vision board connects you to the feelings, emotions, experiences, and opportunities you're craving.
For your business and creative projects, you can make a vision board for a new moon cycle, new month, new season, or even a specific project.
Instead of taking a literal approach, use your intuition to gather images and words that spark inspiration. Follow breadcrumbs of curiosity, aesthetic rabbit holes, and things that don't make mental sense. The outcome might not be what you expect, but it will absolutely put you on the path to manifesting your dreams!
Ritual 3: Business Reflecting and Planning
Pull out your journal and respond to these prompts:
What’s working well in my business? Where is my business thriving?
What feels tedious and stale? Why?
What parts of my work need more attention? Where can I give less?
What are my goals for the immediate future? And for the ten year horizon?
How to Keep the Momentum After the New Moon
Revisit your intentions, vision boards, reflections and plans. Use them as inspiration and guidance as you move through the moon cycle. Remember to look up at the moon and notice how it changes in the sky. When it’s the right time, bring some Full Moon Energy and Practices to your business.
