Can We Expand with Ease?
Do you think growth should be hard? Or is it possible to expand with ease? In this episode, I share my mind’s point of view and then speak from my inner voice. I also share a few simple ways to access your intuition in everyday life.
Today we’re going to explore a topic I’ve been curious about lately. Is it possible to expand with ease? Or does growth require a lot of effort?
I’m going to play around with something new, which is to share with you all the things my mind has to say. And the I’m going to turn the mic down to my intuition, which I also call my inner voice.
Introduction to Inner Voice
Your inner voice is a well of wisdom within you. It’s a voice or presence inside you that you can sense when you’re calm, quiet, and centered.
People have been consulting their inner voices for ages. Through meditation, prayer, journaling, and even connected conversation. Whenever you’ve felt that feeling of being in flow, you are most certainly tapping into your intuition.
If your mind is telling you this is too weird, woo, or unpredictable, I invite you to sit with that discomfort. This could all be true for you, but I suggest you look at is how it makes you feel. When I work with clients they report feeling calmer than they have in a long time. It’s a powerful thing to tap into and the most magical part is that’s within you.
4 Ways to Connect with Your Inner Voice
01. Journaling. Two of my favorite methods are to write what flows for a short period of time, like 8 minutes. Or write back and forth, like in a conversation. Let the mind ask questions then breathe, breathe, breathe, and allow the inner voice to come through.
02. Meditation. See what comes through when you get still. Exhale, exhale, exhale when you witness the mind’s thoughts rise. Cycle through stillness and calm, thought and exhale. And remember, you don’t have to be sitting in a “strict” meditation. You could simply go on a walk or experience nature.
03. Talking. Open up the voice memo app on your phone and start talking. This is similar to journaling. You can let the words flow out or go back and forth in conversation. Some people really love this method because it can be quicker than writing.
04. Booking a Session. It can be easier to tap into your inner voice when someone is facilitating because you can really let go of the mind for a while. Feeling curious? Click here to learn more.
The Mind vs. Intuition
In the episode I share the mind’s viewpoint on expansion and then I share what my inner voice has to say. There’s a strong contrast between the two and most important, the perspective of the intuition feels very calm, gentle, and easy to me.
I’d love to know if today’s episode resonates. Especially since this is something new for the show. Please share any insights on Instagram stories and tag me @kaileenelise.
