Easing the Mental Load on Mothers Through the Holidays
As mothers, the mental load we carry can increase tenfold during the holidays! Many of us will feel the tug between wanting to enjoy the moment while also being the one who is “making the magic” and coordinating all of the logistics that come with the holiday season.
When I became a mother, I felt a strong desire to cultivate my holiday rhythms while honoring the traditions of my and my husband’s families. It can be a lot to balance!
4 Ways Intuition Can Help You this Holiday Season
Now’s the perfect time to connect with your intuition. It can help you reduce holiday stress and cultivate a calm, magical holiday season. Here are a few ideas to get you started:
Inner Voice Journaling — journaling with your intuition is a free and easy way to access your inner wisdom. Grab your journal and set a timer for 8 minutes. Exhale, exhale, exhale, and bring your awareness to where you hear your intuition. Allow your pen to be the receiver of the information. When the timer goes off, you can read back what comes through.
Set Your Intentions — think about what you want this holiday season. What energy do you want to cultivate? How do you want this season to feel?
