Zan and I first connected through Instagram and bonded via DM over our shared love for all things woo and law of attraction.
Zan believes our homes, careers, families and lives are all interconnected. Each area compliments, supports and expands the other. Whether she's writing a blog post, designing a new space, or coaching a client, Zan takes into account all aspects of our lives.
I adore how Zan is elevating and evolving. She integrates the woo elements with real life in such an effortless way. Between her Instagram, blog, and podcast, Zan’s a total vibe.

Rituals and Rhythms
Zan talked about the importance of taking breaks when switching gears and moving from one thing to another. Here are a few of her favorite ways to pause:
Take a sip of water
Watch a video on YouTube
Get some coffee
Go for a walk
Spend time away from screens
Journaling and meditation are two self-care rituals that ebb and flow in Zan’s life. We talked for awhile about her meditation practice.
She knows it’s time to sit when her mind is racing. One of Zan’s top meditation recommendations was to find guided practices on YouTube or on the Hay House Meditations Podcast.
What Do You Want to Appreciate About 2020?
I’m absolutely obsessed with Zan’s answer to this question. This year she learned to trust — in herself, the process, where she is, and her inner voice.
Creativity + Magic
Listening to Zan talk about creativity was inspiring. I really appreciated the reminder to let it be fun. When your work requires you to be creative (which, let’s be honest, is most people in one way or another), it can be easy to forget the importance of play.
Her genius tip to lean on “bubble maps” when creating is one I’ll be trying myself.
When Zan shared her thoughts on magic, I felt a deep sense of calm recognition. And then she somehow brought in Disney Princesses, proving we can also be funny and silly when talking about things like synchronicity and abundance.
Zan believes magic really shows up for people who make space for it. And that by acknowledging and amplifying magic, it will multiply. Give it a try! Like Zan said, “It’s fun and free!”
