Welcome back to the show! I’m in my 3rd trimester of my 3rd pregnancy and things are clicking into place. It’s a reminder that nothing is permanent and life is always ebbing and flowing.

Speaking of flow, this season’s retreat and group coaching experience is here and this group is super magic. Everyone who is currently enrolled in Summer In Flow was also in Magical May, which is just confirmation of how I want things to be moving forward into the future. My intention is that everything I offer you here is cohesive and connected — from 1:1 coaching, to online retreats, and everything between.

Celebrating 5 Years of Motherhood

Today is my son Owen’s 5th birthday, which has me thinking all about my journey to motherhood. I was pregnant three times in three years. The first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage at 9 weeks. Then we welcomed Owen into the family. (Click here for his birth story.) Two months before Owen’s 2nd birthday, Merritt arrived. (She is 3 now and I still haven’t shared her birth story.)

On the first day of 2021, I found out I was pregnant again. Things feel very full circle right now with Owen turning 5, getting ready to start Kindergarten, and a new baby arriving in September!

A Few Lessons I’ve Learned

  • The biggest lesson I learn over and over again is that motherhood is different than what I expected. Part of that is because I’m not the mother I imagined I would be.

  • A very pleasant (and unexpected) surprise is the community I’ve found in motherhood.

  • Something I’m always realizing is your first is always your first. That means you’re constantly learning the next new thing alongside them.
